Uniqlo is gearing up to enhance its presence in the UK with a new store opening in Liverpool ONE next spring. This strategic move aligns with the brand’s regional expansion efforts, aiming to establish a stronger foothold in key locations.
The new retail space will cover 1,430 square metres, spread across two floors, and will offer Uniqlo’s renowned LifeWear range for men, women, children, and infants. This expansion is part of a broader strategy to increase the brand’s visibility and accessibility within the United Kingdom.
Alessandro Dudech, Uniqlo UK’s Chief Operating Officer, commented on the expansion, highlighting Liverpool as a leading shopping destination. He emphasised that opening a store on Paradise Street presents a significant opportunity for the brand to connect with the local community.
Liverpool ONE’s reputation as a hub for prominent international brands was a decisive factor in Uniqlo’s choice. Rob Deacon, Grosvenor’s Director of Asset Management, expressed pride in adding Uniqlo to the mix, reinforcing the location’s appeal to both domestic and international visitors.
This latest addition follows the opening of an 800-square-metre store at Coal Drops Yard, housed in a Grade II listed Victorian shed. The expansion reflects Uniqlo’s commitment to exploring innovative spaces and meeting consumer demands.
