Majestic, a specialist wine retailer, has embarked on an innovative partnership with Just Eat to enhance its on-demand delivery services. This collaboration, launched on the 29th of October 2024, aims to satisfy the increasing consumer demand for swift and convenient access to a wide range of beverages.
Customers of Majestic can now enjoy the convenience of ordering from an extensive selection of wines, including Champagne, Sparkling, Bordeaux, and Loire, along with Italian, New Zealand, and Australian varieties. The offering extends to Majestic’s own-label collections,
“Chosen By Majestic” and “Definition By Majestic“, as well as a rapidly expanding assortment of premium spirits and beers, all available through the Just Eat app. Deliveries can be made in as little as 30 minutes, demonstrating the efficiency of this new service.
The initial phase of the partnership includes service from 43 Majestic stores, notably in locations such as London, Edinburgh, Sheffield, Derby, Abingdon, and High Wycombe. This initiative is expected to roll out to a total of 177 stores across the United Kingdom by the Christmas period, considerably broadening the reach of this timely and responsive delivery option.
Majestic’s commercial general manager, Maria Lopez, expressed enthusiasm, explaining that this partnership will allow the retailer to serve even more customers whenever the need arises. Lopez emphasised the significance of integrating Just Eat into their existing delivery framework, noting the flexibility it offers for both same-day and next-day fulfilment. She stated,
