Next has recently introduced Seasons, its new premium fashion platform designed to attract a discerning UK clientele. With this launch, the platform offers a carefully curated selection of luxury brands, including Ganni, Joseph, Rixo, and Veja, providing customers with access to high-quality fashion choices.
This strategic move comes after an initial announcement in September, highlighting Next’s intention to better serve its more aspirational consumers. Simon Wolfson, CEO, stated, ‘Within [Next’s] eight million customers, a significant number are interested in that more premium product, and we think we can serve those customers better.’
Seasons presents an array of contemporary brands, from Marc Jacobs to Paul Smith, carefully selected to appeal to customers seeking sophistication and exclusivity. The platform also promises to expand its offerings with more brands joining soon.
Building on Next’s robust infrastructure, Seasons guarantees next-day delivery, benefiting from 500 national collection and return points, in addition to providing home collection return options. This service is aimed at enhancing convenience and satisfaction for its consumer base.
‘With a focus on investment-worthy pieces and high-quality service, we believe Seasons will reach a customer who has until now been overlooked in the UK,’ says Jade Taylor, brand director. The brand aspires to cut through the noise of fast-moving fashion trends by offering an edit that resonates with its audience.
Next’s launch of Seasons marks a significant step in catering to the luxury segment of their customer base.
