Alison Lacy has been named Chief Operating Officer at Radical Forge, a game development studio based in Middlesbrough. She joins the company from Avalanche Studios Group in Liverpool, where she spent four years as Location Manager. Her career also includes six years at Bentley Motors, culminating in her role as Director Brand Lifestyle. In addition, Lacy brings experience from Sony’s Evolution Studios, where she served as a Senior Producer.
Lacy is actively involved in the industry beyond her executive roles. She co-chairs the GameChangers organisation, which focuses on skills development within the gaming sector, and she is a Board member of the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority’s Digital & Creative Cluster Board. Her collaboration and leadership in these areas reflect her commitment to advancing the creative industries in Liverpool and beyond.
Her joining Radical Forge is a timely move as the company recently secured a £2.6 million investment from the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund (NPIF). This financial boost is intended to support the company’s growth and innovation, including the upcoming release of their new physics-based farming game, Southfield.
