Majestic Wine has announced the opening of a new wine emporium in Plymouth at The Range’s head office, marking its sixth store opening this financial year.
Majestic Wine continues its strategic expansion with the launch of a new wine emporium in Plymouth. This latest addition, nestled within The Range’s head office, signifies a key step in the company’s aggressive growth strategy, as CEO John Colley has long identified Plymouth as a target location. Colley expressed enthusiasm for the opening, highlighting the opportunity to connect with the local community and share the brand’s celebrated wines and expertise.
“Plymouth is a city we’ve been targeting for some time as part of our expansion plans, so we are delighted to finally be opening our newest store here,” Colley stated. He emphasised the company’s commitment to reinforcing experiential, brick-and-mortar retail environments and achieving deeper community integration, especially as the festive season approaches.
This opening follows the introduction of a spacious 3,450 square foot store in Solihull, and new locations in East Dulwich and Brentwood, Essex. These developments are part of Majestic’s broader ambitions to expand its physical presence, which is proving successful as indicated by the near doubling of organic wine sales over the past year, surpassing the company’s annual targets.
Majestic Wine’s recent store openings highlight its dedication to expanding its bricks-and-mortar presence and engaging new communities as part of a successful growth strategy.
