ITV has greenlit a second series of the acclaimed drama ‘After the Flood’, following its initial success with audiences. Filming is slated to begin in Greater Manchester and Derbyshire next year, ensuring a familiar backdrop for the unfolding drama.
The six-part series brings back popular actors Sophie Rundle, Philip Glenister, Lorraine Ashbourne, Nicholas Gleaves, and Matt Stokoe. Written by Mick Ford, the new season introduces a fresh murder mystery that promises to captivate viewers.
Executive Producers Nicola Shindler and Richard Fee have expressed their delight in revisiting the series.
