In a significant move to broaden its employment law and HR services, Make UK, representing UK manufacturing, has acquired Bhayani Law based in Sheffield.
Previously known as the Engineering Employers’ Federation, Make UK supports 20,000 companies in sectors such as engineering, manufacturing, and technology. The acquisition of Bhayani Law marks a critical expansion in its service offerings. Bhayani Law, founded in 2014 by Jay Bhayani, provides employment law and HR services, including a fixed-fee HR support package named Watertight. The package prices range from £99 to £279 per month, depending on the service level required.
Bhayani Law employs four fee-earners, three HR advisors, and three additional staff members, alongside Ms. Bhayani, and will continue operating under its original name but now with the support of Make UK.
Make UK stated that this acquisition is part of a strategic initiative to enhance and expand its employment law services throughout the UK. This move is expected to increase its customer base by integrating one of the UK’s most dynamic specialist firms. Bhayani Law is set to benefit from Make UK’s support and resources to grow and enhance its services in the South Yorkshire region.
Stephen Phipson, Chief Executive of Make UK, emphasized that their employment law service is already leading in its field and is integral to their offering to various businesses. This acquisition will further broaden their reach and appeal.
Jay Bhayani expressed immense pride in Bhayani Law’s achievements over the last decade. She regarded the integration with Make UK as a powerful endorsement of the firm’s success. Bhayani highlighted that this collaboration would harness mutual strengths, present more opportunities for her team, and provide greater resources for clients, aligning with their growth aspirations.
The acquisition of Bhayani Law by Make UK is poised to significantly bolster employment law and HR services, offering enhanced support and resources to businesses in the UK.
