Lidl has launched its 2024 Christmas jumper collection following remarkable sales in previous years.
Lidl’s highly-anticipated Christmas jumper range for 2024 has returned to the market. In past holiday seasons, a jumper was sold every two seconds, reflecting the significant demand for these festive garments. This year, Lidl has introduced new designs available in the middle aisle, capturing the spirit of Christmas with distinctive motifs.
The range includes two designs for adults: one featuring a red jacquard pattern adorned with Christmas trees, snowflakes, and festive ‘Ho Ho Ho!’ motifs. The other design, in blue, showcases candy canes, present boxes, and the cheerful ‘Merry Xmas’ slogan. For one day only, these jumpers are available with a 20% discount at £6.39 through the Lidl Plus scheme, or £7.99 without it.
In addition to the adult jumpers, the 2024 collection also offers a Men’s Premium Light-Up Christmas Jumper priced at £7.99 with Lidl Plus or £9.99 without. Furthermore, for pet lovers, a Dog Christmas Jumper is available at £3.99 with the loyalty scheme or £4.99 without. Such pricing strategies aim to entice customers looking for festive wearables.
Moreover, Lidl has pledged to contribute £1 to its charity partner, the NSPCC, for every Christmas jumper sold. This initiative not only encourages festive spirit but also supports a charitable cause, underlining Lidl’s commitment to social responsibility.
In an additional attempt to spread festive cheer, Lidl has launched its own version of a Christmas truck, reminiscent of Coca-Cola’s famous truck. This 20-metre and 15-tonne vehicle, wrapped in Freeway cola branding, will tour nine UK cities between 14 November and 1 December. The tour is expected to attract significant attention, enhancing Lidl’s festive marketing strategy.
Lidl’s return of the Christmas jumper range for 2024 combines festive fashion with charitable giving, continuing its tradition of popular holiday offerings.
