Newcastle-based agency SQUIDGY has set its sights on achieving a £1 million turnover by 2026. With strategic growth in mind, the firm has recently expanded its team by adding three experienced professionals. Amy Robinson joins as an SEO executive, Amy Rowell steps in as a paid media executive, and Hannah Lymn takes on the role of paid media manager.
Andy Robson, the agency’s director and founder, reflects on the agency’s progress since its inception. “It’s always rewarding to see the business you’ve built grow,” he comments. From hiring the first member of staff in December 2020 to now forming a robust team of ten industry experts, Robson is confident in the firm’s trajectory toward their financial goals.
The new hires are expected to address the growing demand for SQUIDGY’s services. According to Robson, this expansion will allow the company to take on new clients while enhancing their existing portfolio. “Hannah, Amy, and Amy add to that expertise and help us continue delivering the high-quality work we pride ourselves on,” he notes.
Hannah Lymn, one of the new additions, brings a wealth of experience to the table, particularly in paid social media. Her passion for marketing was kindled at Newcastle University, where she served as the communications liaison for the women’s rugby team. “I’m at the stage of my career where I want to grow in a structured environment, and SQUIDGY is that place for me,” Lymn shared. She emphasises the support she has received from the agency in developing her skills, particularly in PPC.
SQUIDGY also contributes to the local marketing community by hosting regular networking events in Newcastle. These events offer marketers the opportunity to connect, share ideas, and foster a community. The next event is scheduled for February 2025.
SQUIDGY’s strategic hiring and community engagement highlight its commitment to growth and service excellence.
