Featuring exciting celebrity team captains, including well-known personalities such as Denise Van Outen and Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, the show promises lively competition and entertainment.
Additionally, Jeff Brazier and Scarlett Moffatt will lead teams in the special episodes. Following these specials, a full series will commence in January, with team captains Angela Scanlon, Brian Conley, Dan Whiston, Eddie Kadi, Hayley Tamaddon, and Jeanette Kwakye gearing up for more fun and challenges.
Filming has been creatively managed at Enfys Studios in Cardiff, supported by the Welsh Government through Creative Wales, despite Whisper North being based in MediaCity. The strategic decision highlights their commitment to delivering high-quality production.
Mel Giedroyc expressed her excitement, stating, “I’m so delighted to be kicking off the festive season by bringing a family favourite to ITV with the incredible celebrity team captains.” She added that the filming process was filled with humour, enhancing the competition’s enjoyment. The format follows a successful U.S. series hosted by Jerry O’Connell, which was produced by Fox First Run and distributed internationally by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
The new Pictionary series on ITV promises a blend of star power and engaging gameplay that is set to captivate audiences.
