A spokesperson from Diageo commented, emphasising the heightened demand: ‘Over the past month we have seen exceptional consumer demand for Guinness in GB. Within Tesco’s offerings, Guinness holds its place as the most popular stout, although it now faces competition from newcomers such as Brewdog’s Black Heart, which entered the market in early 2023.
