M&S has revealed its eagerly awaited 2024 Christmas sandwich collection.
In collaboration with Around Noon, a prominent food-to-go producer, M&S is offering customers a selection of handcrafted sandwiches across its Irish stores and Applegreen franchise locations. Among the new offerings, the Turkey Feast stands out, combining Irish turkey with smoked bacon, sage and onion stuffing, caramelised onion mayo, and cranberry sauce.
Adding a fresh twist this year, the All Wrapped Up sandwich features Irish turkey and ham, embellished with spinach, and the same flavourful stuffing and sauces as its counterpart. The collection also sees the return of a vegetarian favourite, the Brie and Cranberry sandwich, which retains its simple yet satisfying combination from the previous year.
For those seeking a modern take on classic festive flavours, the Yule Spiced Beef sandwich offers a unique blend of Irish spiced beef, mature cheddar, sauerkraut, gherkins, and mustard mayo, all encased in a pretzel roll. The development of these sandwiches was a collaborative effort, with significant contributions from M&S’s product developer for Ireland and Northern Ireland and Around Noon’s new product development manager, Tori Laverty.
The developer enthusiastically shared that crafting this festive range is a passion project, aiming to encapsulate the essence of the season. They highlighted the importance of detail in both flavour profiles and presentation, underscoring their commitment to enhancing the festive experience through taste.
M&S, through its partnership with Around Noon, continues to innovate and bring festive cheer to its customers with a thoughtfully crafted range of Christmas sandwiches. This collaboration reflects a dedication to quality and the festive spirit inherent in the product design.
