TerraQuest, a technology company specialising in software for land and planning projects, has moved its Birmingham team into a new 7,000 square foot office at Northspring on Temple Street. Originally based on Broad Street, this relocation signifies a strategic step in enhancing the company’s operational capabilities and fostering innovation.
Founded in 1972, TerraQuest has additional offices in Bristol and Belfast. The company’s Chief Operating Officer, David Bellamy, commented on the move: ‘Relocating to our new office at Northspring represents a significant milestone for TerraQuest. Northspring, formerly known as 31 Temple Street, has undergone significant renovations, transforming it into a contemporary workplace with 23 separate office suites, a business lounge, a screening room, a podcast studio, and private video call booths. These facilities highlight the forward-thinking approach of the building’s management and the attraction for various businesses seeking modern office solutions.
In addition to TerraQuest, Northspring hosts other notable tenants such as software firm Invida and civil engineering consultancy McLaughlin & Harvey. The property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton is responsible for letting the spaces, with Director Richard Williams stating, ‘We’re thrilled to welcome TerraQuest to Temple Street. The Birmingham office is the headquarters of their entire business with a headcount of 125. As such, they were committed to making this a statement move that set the tone for their wider working culture.’
