Suntory Beverage & Food UK has announced the promotion of Elise Seibold to the position of Chief Operating Officer.
Elise Seibold, previously the marketing director for Suntory Beverage & Food UK, will assume her new role as Chief Operating Officer on 1 November. This appointment also sees her joining the executive committee of Suntory Beverage & Food Europe, marking a significant advance in her two-decade career with the company.
Seibold’s journey with Suntory began in 2004 when she joined as the assistant brand manager for Schweppes. Over the years, she has held numerous international positions that span brand marketing, commercial, and innovation sectors. Her most recent role as marketing director for the UK and Ireland was marked by noteworthy projects such as the strategic positioning of the Lucozade masterbrand and strengthening the football brand’s presence. She also spearheaded the relaunch of the Ribena ‘Berries’ campaign.
In her new capacity, Seibold emphasised her priorities, stating, “My incoming priorities are continuing to drive innovation in all that we do while striving for operational excellence and pursue a relentless commitment to serving our customers, consumers and the community while living our value of Growing for Good.” This commitment will also involve representing the brand at the British Soft Drinks Association and the Food and Drink Federation.
Suntory is renowned for its reputable brands, including Lucozade Energy, Lucozade Sport, Ribena, and Orangina. The company reported an annual turnover of £543 million in 2023, showcasing its influential presence in the soft drinks market.
