Lidl is preparing to mark its bakery’s esteemed status by launching a unique pop-up event during London Fashion Week. Scheduled for 13 and 14 September, ‘Patisserie Lidl’ will open its doors at 55A Dean Street, London, offering a range of sweet pastry treats to its visitors. This initiative celebrates Lidl’s achievement as the most popular supermarket bakery earlier this year.
The pop-up will feature the much-coveted Croissant Handbags, a collaboration with artist Nikolas Bentel. These handbags, reflecting Lidl’s signature bakery item, previously sold out in under two minutes, highlighting their demand. Available again for £50 each, they are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, presenting a second chance for those who missed the initial release.
In addition to the exclusive handbags, ‘Patisserie Lidl’ will provide a selection of baked goods, including the popular ‘All Butter Croissant’, priced at 59p. Notably, all proceeds from these sales will support the children’s charity NSPCC, showcasing Lidl’s commitment to social responsibility.
Lidl’s pop-up event is an innovative blend of fashion and bakery, contributing to charity.
