Customers worldwide can explore this collection starting from July 9, gaining access to older pieces from the Isabel Marant and Isabel Marant Etoile collections, along with accessories and shoes.
The carefully selected items feature 15 distinctive runway looks from the last ten years of Isabel Marant’s fashion history, presenting a rare opportunity for individuals to own a piece of the brand’s iconic past. By hand-picking these pieces herself, Marant ensures that the selection reflects her unique vision and style.
This collaboration is a key component of the Isabel Marant Vintage initiative, initially launched with Faume in 2021. Faume supports brands with their second-hand sales, emphasising the importance of sustainability and the extension of the lifecycle of fashion items.
Vestiaire Collective, known for its commitment to timeless and durable fashion, aligns with Marant’s ethos of sustainability. Their partnership is intended to encourage circular fashion practices, enabling clothing to bring joy to multiple owners over time, as articulated by Marant in her concept of the ‘ecology of clothing.’
Sophie Hersan, co-founder and fashion director of Vestiaire Collective, praises Marant’s contributions to fashion, highlighting her recognisable lifestyle and the timelessness and modernity that come with her designs. Hersan expressed delight in partnering with Marant to promote increased sustainability within the fashion industry.
This partnership exemplifies the mutual commitment of Isabel Marant and Vestiaire Collective towards a more sustainable future in fashion.
