The German discount retailer has ambitious plans to increase its store count to 1,200 across Britain by the year 2025. To achieve this, Aldi intends to inaugurate approximately 60 new supermarkets each year, equating to nearly one new store opening every week across the UK from now until Christmas.
According to the latest figures from Kantar, Aldi has established itself as the fastest-growing retailer in the UK.
