Absolute Agency has demonstrated exceptional success in 2024, achieving remarkable growth and innovation. This year, the agency is celebrating numerous milestones, including key promotions and strategic hires that are intended to bolster its expanding digital department.
Leading the agency’s digital expansion is the promotion of Gemma Illidge to Head of Digital. Having joined Absolute in 2023 as Senior Digital Account Director, she has quickly proven her capability in directing digital strategy and transformation. With over ten years of experience, Illidge will now focus on driving the agency’s digital operations and fostering innovation for an increasingly diverse client portfolio. Illidge expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “I’m thrilled to be stepping into this role at such an exciting time for Absolute Agency. With the momentum we’ve built this year, it’s an incredible opportunity to push forward with digital innovation and deliver transformative results for our clients.”
The agency’s digital team has been further strengthened by the addition of two industry veterans. Aaron Hargreaves, an accomplished UX specialist with experience from brands such as FOOTASYLUM and Netflights, brings a user-focused approach that ensures intuitive and effective digital experiences. Simultaneously, Sam Austin, a front-end development expert from SCAN Computers, enhances Absolute’s web development capabilities, ensuring seamless integration from UX strategy to full digital build.
The investment in Absolute Control, the agency’s proprietary Content Management System, has been instrumental in its success. The efforts in developing the next iteration have led to a 48% increase in digital turnover. Managing Director Chris Hodgen praised Illidge’s contributions, stating that her innovative approach has been pivotal in shaping the company’s digital offerings.
Anticipation is building for the release of Absolute Control v7.0 in December 2024. This new version will integrate AI-driven tools, streamlining content creation and website management, and feature an updated data dashboard. Such advancements are expected to drive even more significant results for the agency’s clients.
Absolute Agency’s forward-looking strategies and investments in digital innovation position them strongly for continued success.
