BANC, a digital marketing agency from Manchester, has adeptly undertaken the task of launching comprehensive new websites for Holts Auto and its subsidiary brands: Prestone, Simoniz, and Redex. This initiative stems from the need to transition from a cumbersome multi-site configuration to distinct, individual domains, significantly bolstering brand presence and growth potential.
Previously, all these brands were contained under a singular Holts Auto domain, leading to limited visibility and brand recognition. Recognising the constraints of this setup, BANC engineered bespoke sites for each brand, incorporating individualised branding, product hierarchy, and tailored business considerations.
A notable enhancement in these new websites is the inclusion of a smart search functionality. This feature seamlessly integrates search capabilities across products, guides, and educational resources, facilitating a more intuitive and swift user experience.
Although sales are not conducted directly through these sites, BANC has innovatively designed the pages in the likeness of standard e-commerce platforms. This structure supports user navigation and directs them to primary retailers such as Tesco, Halfords, Euro Car Parts, and Amazon for purchase.
Chris Balme, BANC’s production lead, expressed satisfaction with the outcome, highlighting the intense but rewarding nature of the project. He noted, “We’re really happy with the work we completed for Holts Auto. It was intensive, but I think the final products really are a testament to the hard work, creative ideas and technical expertise that we put into every project.”
