E4 is preparing to premiere the reality pilot, ‘It’s a Scouse Life’, which is an engaging exploration of life in Liverpool. The show was filmed over the summer and focuses on a group of interconnected Merseysiders as they handle relationships, friendships, and business in one of Europe’s most lively cities. This fresh offering will provide insights into the unique social fabric of Liverpool.
The programme, created by Optomen Television, aims to deliver genuine insights into the lives of its participants and the city they inhabit. Nick Hornby, CEO of Optomen, expressed gratitude towards the City of Liverpool and the cast for bringing the show to life both on-screen and off-screen. He anticipates that E4’s audience will appreciate the unfiltered access to the personal stories based in and around the L1 area.
The executive production is led by Rebecca McLaughlin, with Simon Atkins serving as the series producer. Atkins highlighted the opportunity to experience Liverpool’s vibrant community and the close relationships within the cast, hoping that this perspective resonates well within the pilot episode.
