Premier, a prominent agency in entertainment, arts, and culture, is undertaking significant changes in its executive board as part of its strategy to grow its reach and capabilities. This initiative is crucial to maintaining its competitive edge and adapting to the evolving demands of the industry.
Lawrence Francis, previously holding the position of executive director, has been promoted to managing director. In his new role, he continues to collaborate closely with Executive Chairman John Reiss, focusing on expanding the agency’s consultancy services within the cultural and entertainment domains. His leadership is expected to drive Premier’s ambition to lead in these sectors.
Elaine Pearce has ascended to managing director with responsibilities extending to board-level oversight of people and resources. Her role is integral to strengthening the organisational structure and ensuring that Premier’s operations align with its strategic goals, particularly in nurturing talent and optimising resource management.
The executive board is further bolstered by the addition of Sam Stagnell, Hilary Chadwick, and Georgina Kafetzis, all of whom bring extensive experience from within Premier. Stagnell, in charge of Premier Live, will enhance her involvement in business development. Chadwick leads Premier Events, which is renowned for orchestrating high-profile film premieres. Meanwhile, Kafetzis will oversee financial control, a critical component as Premier seeks sustainable growth.
John Reiss, Executive Chairman, expressed his enthusiasm for these appointments, stating, “I am delighted to be welcoming three highly talented long-term colleagues to Premier’s executive board to complement the existing highly professional team as we enter our next growth phase”. These leadership changes are designed to reinforce Premier’s standing in the global market, where it serves a diverse portfolio of clients spanning major producers, distributors, and festivals.
These strategic board changes signal Premier’s commitment to future-proofing its operations and strengthening its leadership in the entertainment and cultural sectors.
