Freedom Fibre has entered a significant partnership with Godel Technologies to drive its digital transformation. This collaboration stems from a strategic merger with VX UK, highlighting the necessity to modernise and rebuild Freedom Fibre’s systems infrastructure.
David Hough, the Network Operations Director at Freedom Fibre, underscored the decision to seek a Manchester-based nearshore partner who could offer flexibility and collaboration. He noted, “We decided we needed to rebuild our system’s infrastructure within the company and decided to look for a Manchester-based nearshore partner who was flexible and collaborative in seeking data-driven business solutions.”
The partnership with Godel emerged after previous successful data consultancy engagements, where Godel’s collaborative approach proved crucial. Hough highlighted that Godel worked as an integral part of their team, sharing similar goals, which was pivotal to hitting their targets. He stated, “Having recently worked with them for a data consultancy, Godel stood out for their partnership approach, working collaboratively with us on what we’re trying to achieve, which has been crucial to reaching our targets.”
Godel’s understanding of Freedom Fibre’s business operations allows them to make confident recommendations across various areas. This partnership not only reviews data but also considers the business structure, ensuring solutions are precisely targeted, enhancing efficiency and structure.
The merger between Freedom Fibre and VX UK earlier this year has also expanded fibre connectivity to more than 285,000 homes across the North West and Midlands. Gareth Ainsworth, CEO at Godel, expressed enthusiasm about this long-term partnership, stating, “So far we have been on an incredible journey with Freedom Fibre, and as we transition into a long-term partnership, we will continue to work in collaboration and help them deliver against their goals.”
This partnership marks a forward leap for Freedom Fibre in enhancing their service capabilities and infrastructure.
