In a strategic move, Technology Services Group (TSG), a prominent UK mid-market business tech partner, has completed a substantial acquisition to bolster its position in the educational market. Recognised for its broad range of IT solutions, TSG has acquired Dayta, a fast-growing provider of accountancy and financial management software for schools and multi-academy trusts.
This acquisition aligns with TSG’s existing services, particularly its strength in offering business applications and ERP software to small and medium-sized enterprises. The integration of Dayta’s staff into TSG will not only retain existing jobs but also create new opportunities, reflecting TSG’s commitment to growth.
Dayta, based in Aylesbury and employing 17 staff, is known for its expertise in providing technology solutions to educational institutions. With this acquisition, TSG aims to enhance the delivery of its flexible training programs through the TSG Academy, which has already collaborated with over 500 organisations to train more than 4,000 individuals.
The acquisition is seen as a pivotal step in TSG’s growth strategy, which has included partnering with Pictet Alternative Advisors. TSG’s ambitions extend to further organic growth and additional strategic acquisitions, building on its recent double-digit increases in turnover and profit, alongside its expanding team of over 250 employees.
With offices in major UK cities including Newcastle, London, and Glasgow, TSG has solidified its position as a leading Microsoft Solution Partner. The company continues to support its clients across various sectors in transitioning to cloud-based solutions.
