Serotonin has been appointed as the digital marketing agency for Bella Italia, focusing on the rollout of their new national campaign named ‘Feel Bella’. The campaign seeks to innovatively elevate brand awareness through a combination of digital and out-of-home marketing strategies.
Megan Trimble, Marketing Director at Bella Italia, praised the collaboration with Serotonin, highlighting their ability to craft a comprehensive and strategic marketing plan. “We’ve found excellent synergies with the whole team at Serotonin whilst working on our ‘Feel Bella’ initiative,” she remarked. Trimble emphasised Serotonin’s expertise in transforming creative ideas into impactful and widespread campaigns, aimed at delivering tangible results.
Designed by Defiant, the campaign utilises playful imagery, depicting people being comforted by oversized food dishes to engage audiences. This creative direction aims to distinguish Bella Italia in a competitive market.
Since its launch, the digital arm of the campaign has garnered over 2 million impressions and substantial interactions, with 215,000 thruplays and 7,000 landing page views across paid social media channels. Additionally, it has generated over 7.1 million impressions, 208,000 site visits, and 12,000 bookings through targeted search advertising.
The outdoor advertising component of the campaign has significantly increased visibility, particularly through static billboards and digital screens positioned in high-traffic areas such as train stations, metro stations, and shopping centres in Newcastle. This aspect of the campaign alone achieved over 8.5 million impressions in just two weeks.
Dom Carter, co-founder and Digital Director at Serotonin, expressed excitement about the collaboration, noting Bella Italia’s renowned status and innovative drive. “Opportunities to work with a brand and team like Bella don’t come around often,” Carter stated, emphasising the team’s eagerness to explore new channels and creative avenues.
The partnership between Serotonin and Bella Italia is poised to set new benchmarks in digital marketing innovation, with the potential for continued success.
