In an effort to highlight the often-overlooked efforts of HR professionals, the HR Manager of the Month award was established in 2015. This initiative aims to recognise those who have made significant contributions to the workplace and have demonstrated exceptional dedication to their roles.
HR professionals are encouraged to nominate peers who have achieved success despite challenges, consistently gone above and beyond their duties, or simply deserve recognition for their contributions. This nomination process is open to all HR professionals, allowing for self-nomination as well as peer nominations.
Each month, a panel will select a winner from the nominations received. The twelve monthly winners throughout the year will then be in the running for HR News’s HR Manager of the Year award.
The culmination of this annual recognition program takes place at a gala awards dinner scheduled for March 2016. This event will highlight the achievements of HR professionals and offer a platform to celebrate their invaluable contributions to the field.
By facilitating this recognition, the award programme not only honours individual excellence but also contributes to enhancing the overall perception of the HR profession. Such initiatives underscore the critical role HR plays in fostering positive workplace environments.
This initiative serves as a testament to the invaluable contributions of HR professionals within businesses.
