In a significant industry development, Good Travel Management (GTM) and CT Travel Group (CTTG) have merged to create a formidable £85m travel entity. This merger is a strategic endeavour backed by John Good Group, the majority investor in both companies, signifying an ambitious drive towards growth in various travel sectors, including business, incentives, groups and events, trade missions, and leisure travel. Offices have been strategically placed in London, Kent, and Yorkshire to enhance service provision.
GTM, based in Hessle, Hull, has a storied history within the travel industry, dating back to the late 1800s. Having acquired Wexas’ corporate travel business in 2023, GTM aims to solidify its position as a preferred partner for business travel. On the other hand, CTTG, with its brands like CT Business Travel and Pettitts Travel, seeks to continue its expansion in both the corporate and leisure markets.
Mark Kempster, the founder of CT Travel Group, expressed his delight at the merger, stating, “I am delighted that we are joining with Good Travel Management.
