AllSaints has marked a significant milestone by opening its first standalone store on the African continent, located at Gate 15 of Cairo’s Mall of Arabia. This new venture underscores the brand’s commitment to international expansion.
The 2,368 square foot store, which opened on 2 September, features a comprehensive range of AllSaints’ clothing, footwear, and accessories for both women and men, appealing to a diverse clientele in Egypt.
In line with its strategic design philosophy, the store embraces a new concept first rolled out in Los Angeles last year. This approach retains AllSaints’ trademark industrial aesthetic while adopting a modern, lighter look.
Since March 2024, AllSaints’ products have been available through premium department stores in Egypt, such as Dstore and Ofive. The standalone store is expected to enhance the brand’s presence and accessibility.
Globally, AllSaints has been on an aggressive expansion path with recent store openings in Shanghai, Taiwan, South Korea, Los Angeles, New York, Mexico, and Spain.
The brand continues to strengthen its foothold in the UK with new stores in London Bridge, Manchester, and Glasgow, increasing its total number of directly operated stores to 300 worldwide.
Financially, AllSaints reported a robust 40% rise in operating profit for the year ending February 2024. Revenue also saw a modest increase, indicating a strong market position.
Peter Wood, CEO, remarked on the strong demand for AllSaints in Egypt and expressed enthusiasm about the standalone store’s potential to boost the brand’s influence in the region.
With its enhanced international footprint, AllSaints is poised for further growth across Europe and Asia, where its offerings resonate particularly well.
The Egyptian store’s debut signifies AllSaints’ continued evolution and adaptation to global market trends.
This strategic opening in Egypt marks a promising chapter for AllSaints’ global expansion efforts.
