Britvic’s financial year culminated in remarkable success, as seen in the significant rise in profits and sales.
Over the past year, Britvic, known for its popular beverage brands, has experienced a substantial increase in both profits and sales figures. For the 12 months ending in September, the company reported an EBIT rise of 14.9%, reaching £250.9 million. This impressive growth was accompanied by an 8.6% increase in sales, taking the total to £1.8 billion. The driving force behind these numbers was a combination of price enhancements and increased volume.
Britvic’s volume saw a 3.1% increase, bolstered by both organic growth and strategic acquisitions, including Extra Power and Jimmy’s Iced Coffee. In addition, the average realised price of their products grew by 6.2%. The UK market particularly spotlighted the success of the plant-based milk and shots brand, Plenish, whose sales more than doubled due to innovative product launches.
Chief Executive Simon Litherland described the company’s financial achievements as “excellent,” attributing their success to strong growth across all markets and its diverse portfolio of leading brands. Looking forward, Britvic plans to continue expanding its capacities, investing in its workforce, and significantly boosting marketing and innovation efforts.
Further strengthening its position, Britvic expects the completion of its acquisition by Carlsberg early in 2025. This strategic move is expected to open new avenues for growth and development within the beverage industry.
Britvic’s recent financial success underscores its strong market position and commitment to growth and innovation.
