Paul Price is set to rejoin Burberry as the chief product merchandising and planning officer, a move marking his return to the luxury retailer. Price previously worked at Burberry for a decade until 2017 as the chief merchandising officer, where he played a significant role in shaping the brand’s product strategies and ensuring consistent growth.
After his tenure at Burberry, Price transitioned to lead Topshop and Topman as chief executive before moving on to head James Perse in Los Angeles. Since 2021, he has been operating his own consulting firm, bringing a wealth of experience back to Burberry as he prepares to embark on this new role in December.
Price will step into his position amidst high expectations, joining the executive committee and reporting directly to Burberry’s new CEO, Joshua Schulman. Schulman, who joined the brand earlier this year, expressed his enthusiasm, stating that Price is an exceptional leader poised to guide the company’s future successes.
