In an impressive display of corporate growth, BWH Hotels has announced plans to expand its footprint in the north of England following an exceptionally successful year. The organisation, which already boasts a portfolio of over 270 hotels, intends to leverage this growth to form partnerships in key northern cities.
This year alone, BWH Hotels added a remarkable 12 new establishments to its collection, increasing its capacity by 832 rooms. These additions stretch from Eastbourne on the southern coast to Sunderland in the North East, signifying a strategic expansion across the country.
A noteworthy development for BWH this year is its inaugural partnership with a long-stay establishment — the Liverpool Dockside Aparthotel. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in BWH’s expansion strategy, highlighting the group’s adaptability and forward-thinking approach.
According to Robert Alley, BWH Hotels GB Brand Director, the firm is focusing its efforts on aligning with hotels in city-centre locations in the north to drive future growth. His statement reflects the company’s ambition: ‘Given our incredible business growth in 2024, our ambitions for Northern city-centre locations in 2025 and beyond are challenging but definitely achievable.’
