Carlsberg has introduced two unique Christmas jumpers, engaging consumers through an online competition with Asda.
In a fresh festive initiative, Carlsberg has launched two limited-edition Christmas jumpers, entitled ‘Home’ and ‘Away’, drawing on the company’s football heritage. This promotional campaign is a collaboration with Asda, aiming to captivate the public’s interest as the holiday season approaches and social gatherings become more frequent.
The ‘Home’ jumper embraces the classic Carlsberg pilsner green, while the ‘Away’ version reflects the brand’s non-alcoholic option with its blue hue. Both designs are distinguished by the presence of Carlsberg’s logo and the iconic hop leaf symbol, subtly reinforcing the brand’s identity.
This initiative is being highlighted through an official launch video on Carlsberg UK’s Instagram. Consumers have the chance to win one of these exclusive jumpers or one of ten £100 gift cards from Asda through participation in the online competition, which runs until 2 December.
Meanwhile, a noteworthy aspect of this collaboration is Asda’s broader commitment during the festive period. The supermarket chain has pledged nearly £1 million in grants and new in-store strategies aimed at encouraging conversations and reducing loneliness among those over 60. This initiative is part of a wider effort by Asda to engage with communities and bring about positive social change.
Carlsberg’s launch of these exclusive jumpers not only highlights creative promotional strategies but also strengthens its engagement with consumers. In partnership with Asda, the competition offers an appealing festive incentive amidst broader efforts to foster social connections during the holiday season.
