Nectar360 has renewed its collaboration with the Woodland Trust, extending their joint efforts to 2027, facilitating environmental conservation alongside customer rewards.
Nectar360, a loyalty programme, has decided to prolong its partnership with the Woodland Trust until 2027. This extension allows consumers to contribute to important environmental conservation activities while simultaneously gaining rewards for their usual shopping practices. The alliance has been a cornerstone of a longstanding corporate relationship between the organisation and the conservation charity, rooted since 2004.
Historically, this collaboration has led to the planting of over 5.1 million trees and the safeguarding of more than 2,000 acres of woodland across the United Kingdom. Through the new agreement, customers are empowered to continue this positive environmental impact by earning 20 points for every pound spent on Woodland Trust memberships online. Additionally, they can accumulate triple points on select products, with the option to donate these points to support projects like wildflower meadows and forest restoration initiatives.
Amir Rasekh, Director of Nectar360, emphasised, “The partnership with the Woodland Trust offers customers a simple way to support the environment while earning rewards.” He affirmed that such collaborations are integral to Sainsbury’s commitment to environmental sustainability as part of its ‘Plan for Better’, focusing on ecosystem protection and regeneration. This move aligns with Sainsbury’s broader initiative, including the recent launch of its first airport store at Edinburgh Airport, enhancing food and drink offerings for travellers.
Through its renewed partnership with the Woodland Trust, Nectar360 continues to offer its customers meaningful opportunities to foster environmental sustainability while benefiting from reward systems, reinforcing an enduring commitment to the protection and enhancement of the UK’s natural landscapes.
