One of the most notable changes is the expansion of the beauty hall by 25%, bringing the total to 41 new counters and shop-in-shop concepts. This allows the department to feature 175 beauty brands, including high-profile names like Clarins, Dior, Clinique, and Charlotte Tillbury, as well as The Inkey List, Mac, Skin+Me, Nudestix, and The Ordinary.
In a strategic move, the jewellery section has been relocated to the first floor. This new space showcases 46 brands and introduces innovative services such as piercing and jewellery welding provided by Tish Lyon, enhancing the store’s luxury appeal.
John Lewis has also invigorated its home department. New partnerships with brands like Ruggable and Made.com have been established, while existing brands and room settings have been updated to appeal to diverse tastes and preferences. Adding to the revamped store’s attractions, a new Waterstones bookshop opened earlier this month, likely to attract literature enthusiasts.
