The newly refurbished beauty hall at Fenwick’s Newcastle flagship store offers a fresh and expansive shopping experience. The department now stretches over 26,000 square feet, featuring two newly enlarged atriums that illuminate the space, marrying natural light with a modern shopping environment. The facade boasts 56 feet of window display along Northumberland Street, enhancing both aesthetic appeal and street presence.
Central to the hall’s upgraded design is a stunning 50-foot fragrance bar coupled with more than 1600 square feet of terrazzo flooring, enhancing the elegance and luxury of the shopping experience. Fenwick has effectively created what it describes as a “beauty oasis”, providing shoppers with an extensive selection of 163 brands. Among these offerings are popular names such as Chantecaille, Charlotte Tilbury, Guerlain’s premium L’Art Matier, Hourglass, and Le Labo.
The transformation includes the introduction of 23 brand-new beauty counters and a novel fragrance edit concept, further enriching the shopping destination. This initiative aims to fulfil diverse beauty needs, providing an unrivalled product range and tailored beauty services. According to Hazel Ayers, Fenwick’s Director of Buying and Merchandising, the redeveloped department reflects not only meticulous attention to detail but a commitment to innovation and customer experience.
