Pure London x JATC welcomed numerous brands and buyers for its spring/summer 25 edition, held at Olympia London from 14 to 16 July. This marks the second occurrence of the joint trade show after its initial run in February. The event coincided with the Scoop premium womenswear show, enhancing its appeal.
The exhibition showcased over 160 brands, introducing newcomers like UK fitnesswear brand CSix, Barcelona’s streetwear label Becca & Cole, and UK outdoor menswear brand Ppfff. Such diversity underlines the platform’s role in promoting varied fashion industries.
Despite external distractions such as the Wimbledon men’s final and sunny weather, organisers reported a consistent stream of visitors. Monday saw particularly higher attendance than Sunday, attributed to the draw of the show and the events running parallel.
Vipin Bansal, representing new exhibitor Stryte, highlighted the positive reception of his hemp clothing line by UK and Asian buyers. He emphasised the enriching interactions that made the event fruitful, evident in his outlook for post-show discussions.
Returning participants, such as Goose Island’s Francine Harris, acknowledged the event’s significance in nurturing existing client relations while engaging with potential new customers. Such interactions are pivotal for sustaining business continuity.
Buyers, including Cheryl Daubney of Allez Chic and Tracy-Anne Fraser of Kanya, praised the show for its exclusive offerings and the opportunity to establish order relations with brands not present elsewhere. This exclusivity is a drawing factor for many.
First-time attendees like Michelle Spence from Liel Designs noted the variety and uniqueness of brands at the show, underscoring its value for expanding business horizons, particularly as her store plans to diversify into childrenswear.
The organisers, Hyve Group, emphasised the show’s integrated elements such as catwalks and panel discussions, contributing to a comprehensive trade experience. This blend of business and content curation marks a strategic direction for future editions.
The Pure London x JATC event successfully fostered meaningful interactions, providing a robust platform for fashion networking and business development.
