Greggs is embarking on an innovative venture by opening a Champagne bar at Fenwick department store in Newcastle, aiming to deliver a unique and premium customer experience. Slated to open on 24 October, this exclusive bar will operate on a reservation-only basis, nestled within Fenwick’s food hall until the end of the year.
The menu, developed in collaboration with Fenwick’s executive head chef Mark Reid, promises to elevate Greggs’ beloved staples to gourmet heights. Classic items such as the steak bake and sausage roll are complemented by refined condiments, including peppercorn aioli and hot honey chilli sauce, creatively reimagining the traditional bakery favourites.
For Champagne enthusiasts, Greggs offers an exquisite selection of handpicked Champagnes served either by the glass or bottle.Celebrated labels, including Bollinger Rosé and Laurent Perrier, feature prominently, with Louis Roederer Cristal available at a premium price of £75 per glass.
