Mamas & Papas, a well-known nursery and childrenswear retailer, reported record sales of £154.3 million for the year ending 31 March 2024. This substantial growth, marking a 7.1% increase, is attributed to increased visitation by new and expectant parents to their stores both within the UK and internationally.
A notable 48% rise in sales was recorded through the retailer’s 36 UK concessions, notably with Marks & Spencer and Next, benefiting from six new destinations and the full-year impact of 15 new locations opened in the previous year. This expansion strategy underscores the brand’s commitment to increasing accessibility.
Internationally, Mamas & Papas operates 28 concessions in countries such as Spain, Indonesia, and Thailand. This global footprint is set to expand further as the company invests in international partnerships and digital transformation to enhance customer engagement and brand presence.
Nathan Williams, CEO of Mamas & Papas, expressed pride in these achievements, highlighting the profitable growth from retail and e-commerce channels. He noted, “Our investment in the brand and business has delivered profitable sales growth.”
