Gymshark, renowned for its dynamic approach in the activewear industry, has announced the appointment of Sian Keane as its new Chief People Officer. Sian Keane, who previously held the role of Chief People Officer at the luxury etailer Farfetch, is set to drive Gymshark’s people strategy forward.
Keane’s career at Farfetch spanned over a decade, where she climbed the ranks from global talent and people director to executive vice-president of people, ultimately becoming Chief People Officer. Her expertise in talent management and strategic human resources makes her an invaluable asset to Gymshark.
In her new capacity, Keane will focus on attracting, developing, and retaining top talent—elements crucial for the brand’s long-term vision. Ben Francis, Gymshark’s founder and CEO, expressed his aspiration for the brand to become a lasting institution, emphasising the need for exceptional talent to realise this goal.
Francis noted that from the outset, Sian Keane’s alignment with Gymshark’s ideals and her impressive track record made her a perfect fit for the role. He highlighted that having the right people is the most important asset for driving Gymshark towards its ambitious future.
Keane’s appointment follows other strategic hires at the company, including Hannah Mercer and Kim Dolder, who have joined Gymshark in senior roles earlier this year. This wave of high-profile appointments underscores Gymshark’s commitment to enhancing its leadership team to support its growth and operational objectives.
Sian Keane’s induction into Gymshark exemplifies the brand’s dedication to strengthening its leadership for sustained success.
