Hurr, a renowned fashion rental platform, announced a partnership with Deliveroo to revolutionise delivery services for central London customers. This collaboration allows clients to enjoy fashion rentals delivered directly to their doorsteps in just 20 minutes, significantly reducing the wait time compared to the existing next-day service.
Deliveroo’s adept bike couriers will ensure swift delivery of over 50 dresses from notable luxury and premium brands including 16 Arlington, Santa Brands, Self-Portrait, Nadine Merabi, and Rixo. Upon receiving their rental, customers will also obtain a returns label, facilitating easy returns by post after a rental period ranging from four to 30 days.
Hurr’s founder, Victoria Prew, expressed excitement over the collaboration, emphasising the convenience and speed of receiving party wear at one’s doorstep, stating that this partnership places “customer experience at the heart of Hurr.” She emphasised that this service could be faster than typical fast fashion alternatives.
Eric French, COO of Deliveroo, remarked on the groundbreaking nature of this partnership, asserting that it brings luxury and convenience to the rental fashion market. French noted how this marks Deliveroo’s initial venture into the fashion sector, reflecting the company’s ambition to increase its service variety.
Although Deliveroo facilitates the rapid delivery, it does not support the returns process. This task remains within the traditional postal services, ensuring clarity in service offerings. Customers can enjoy the luxury of immediate fashion solutions without the hassle of complex return procedures.
