Renowned chef Jamie Oliver is preparing to unveil a new cookery school along with a cafe at the recently renovated John Lewis flagship store located on Oxford Street. Set to open its doors in March, the school will comprise two dedicated classrooms and a cafe accommodating fifty patrons.
Though John Lewis has previously operated with a Waitrose cookery school in West London, this new establishment signifies the first in-store lessons the department store chain has offered. This strategic move follows the unveiling of the upgraded Oxford Street location, which has undergone a significant refurbishment valued at £6.5 million. The enhancements span various segments including the comprehensive revamp of the beauty hall and the introduction of new brands to the home section.
