In an effort to bolster customer loyalty, Morrisons has revised its scheme to offer five More Card points on every product purchased.
This strategic update applies to both in-store and online purchases, as well as transactions via Amazon. Previously, Morrisons shoppers could only accumulate points on selected products, with the ability to redeem a £5 voucher upon reaching 5000 points.
The supermarket also continues to reward customers with additional More points on specific items, notably offering up to 50 points for purchases from its premium ‘The Best’ line throughout December. This initiative is part of Morrisons’ broader strategy to provide greater value to its customers.
Alex Rogerson, Morrisons’ Group Marketing Director, expressed that the company aims to enhance customer value by allowing them to earn points more liberally. Rogerson stated, “We wanted to give customers even more bang for their buck when they shop with Morrisons, and now they’ll earn More Points on everything they buy.”
In a related development, the supermarket has also extended its collaboration with Amazon, which commenced in September. This partnership extension facilitates the availability of More Card benefits for customers opting to shop through the global e-commerce giant, thereby expanding the accessibility of its loyalty scheme.
In addition to increasing point accrual opportunities, Morrisons has also launched other initiatives, including a 25% discount for farmers at all its Cafés under the ‘Tractor Tuesdays’ promotion. These moves signify its ongoing commitment to customer engagement and satisfaction.
Overall, Morrisons’ revamp of its More Card points system reflects its dedication to customer satisfaction and operational strategy.
