The newly launched policy provides up to 12 weeks of paid leave to employees whose newborns require neonatal treatment for a week or longer. This leave is supplementary to existing maternity, paternity, or adoption leave, ensuring parents have the necessary time with their infants without the pressure of work commitments.
The policy is applicable to any employee whose child is admitted into neonatal care within the first 28 days after birth. Crucially, it guarantees full contracted pay for each week the baby receives medical treatment, highlighting the company’s commitment to employee welfare.
