Ted Baker has taken a strategic step in reviving its wholesale business by appointing Ryan Llewellyn-Pace to lead this effort. As former managing director for Barbour, he has a wealth of experience in expanding wholesale operations, both domestically and internationally.
The management of Ted Baker’s wholesale business in the UK and Europe will now be overseen by Pace Partnership London. This decision follows a five-year agreement with New Lobster, part of the PDS Group, which previously secured a strategic partnership with Authentic to establish the Ted Baker Design Group.
Llewellyn-Pace is not working alone; he has brought on several former colleagues from Barbour to ensure a robust management team. This includes Natasha Bailey, Kevin Freegard, Mark Simpson, and William Ball, all of whom have significant experience in sales, marketing, and business development.
While Pace Partnership London manages sales and marketing, New Lobster will maintain its focus on global design, development, and production. This division of responsibilities is designed to enhance the brand’s growth by focusing expert efforts where they are most needed.
Llewellyn-Pace expressed his excitement about the partnership with New Lobster, highlighting the shared vision of making Ted Baker a leading British lifestyle brand. New Lobster’s managing director, Steve Goodwin, also commented on the elevated styling, fabrication, and silhouette of the product, expressing confidence in growing the well-loved brand.
The collaboration between Pace Partnership London and New Lobster is poised to reinvigorate Ted Baker’s presence in the market.
