The clothing brand achieved a remarkable score of 100.2, far surpassing the B Corp certification’s minimum threshold, indicating a robust commitment to sustainability and ethical business practices.
Gaining B Corp status is widely regarded as one of the most challenging certifications globally. Companies must undergo an extensive online assessment comprising over 200 questions. These questions examine various aspects, including governance, treatment of workers, environmental impact, community involvement, and customer service.
Seasalt’s CEO, Paul Hayes, spoke of the brand’s pride in achieving this certification.
