Silas Adler has announced his departure from Soulland, a brand he founded at the youthful age of 17 in 2002. Known for its unique blend of artisanship and streetwear, Soulland has become a staple at Copenhagen Fashion Week, a testament to its influence and Adler’s vision.
Since its early days, Soulland has not only showcased its collections at prestigious events but has also collaborated with major names such as Nike, Hello Kitty, and Playboy. This strategic positioning has ensured Soulland’s presence in high-end retailers like End Clothing, Browns Fashion, and Ssense, fortifying its reputation in the contemporary fashion landscape.
In 2006, Adler was joined by Jacob Kampp Berliner, who took on the role of CEO and sales director. Their partnership has been instrumental in driving the brand forward. As of Adler’s departure on 24 June 2024, Kampp Berliner has assumed complete ownership of the company, continuing the legacy they built together.
Reflecting on his time with Soulland, Adler remarked, ‘Soulland has been the journey of my lifetime; more than that, it has been my life since I founded the brand at the age of 17 in December 2002.’ He expressed gratitude for the experiences shared with Kampp Berliner, noting the privilege of running a brand alongside his best friend.
