Tesco’s decision to broaden its online beauty selection comes after recognising that Maybelline ranks as the most searched cosmetics brand on its platform. Marianne Aitken, Tesco’s category director for beauty and personal care, stated, “Following last year’s addition of Rimmel and Sally Hansen beauty products to Tesco home delivery and click-and-collect services, customers have continued to search on our website and app for more top brands, with Maybelline being the number one searched beauty brand.”
Aitken further explained that by offering Maybelline, L’Oreal Paris, and Essie for both home delivery and in-store collection at most large stores, Tesco aims to save customers a trip and provide greater choice and value.
This expansion is also accompanied by a celebratory offer through Tesco’s Clubcard Prices, featuring a three-for-two deal on all cosmetics available online and in stores, including popular items like Maybelline Sensational Sky High Mascara and L’Oreal Paris Paradise Waterproof Mascara.
