Leeds law firm Gordons has announced a substantial 14% jump in net profit for the fiscal year ending March 2024, amounting to £12.1 million. This impressive performance is part of a broader trend that includes a 6% increase in total annual revenue, which reached £22.3 million.
The firm’s ability to distribute a bonus equal to 5% of the annual salary to its employees underscores its financial health and commitment to sharing success with its team. Gordons attributes this success to expanding its service offerings to existing clients and capturing new clients, including major names such as Houseful, Zoopla’s parent company.
A major contributor to Gordons’ financial success was its corporate and commercial department, which experienced a remarkable 20% increase in revenue. The employment practice also grew by 14%, demonstrating robust performance across different practices within the firm.
Gordons’ client portfolio boasts significant names, including AO, Iceland Foods, Morrisons, Ocado Retail, Wren Kitchens, Molson Coors, and Evri. Such high-profile clients are a testament to the firm’s strong reputation and effectiveness in handling complex legal needs.
