Switalskis has appointed Magdalena Dootson as a paralegal, enhancing their Leeds-based criminal law team. Magdalena, who has spent over a decade as a court translator for Polish speakers, joins the firm eager to complete her legal training and qualify as a lawyer this year.
Reflecting on her journey, Magdalena explains, “I was an interpreter and translator for over 10 years, working on cases with police, courts, CPS, and other legal bodies. This role gave me invaluable insights into the varied facets of law, inspiring my shift towards a legal career.” Her experience in handling complex, high-profile cases is considered vital in her new role.
Magdalena has completed the Police Station Representative Accreditation Scheme and holds a Master of Laws (LLM). Her academic and professional credentials position her well for growth within the legal field at Switalskis.
