In a strategic move to bolster its legal expertise, Switalskis has welcomed four promising individuals into its ranks through the Qualifying Solicitors Programme (QSP). The programme, renowned for creating comprehensive pathways into the legal profession, has attracted a talented cohort this year, highlighting Switalskis’ commitment to nurturing future legal leaders.
This year’s intake includes Emily Bosworth, Sana Mahmood, Harry Aukett, and Polina Tureac, each embarking on a path tailored to their professional experiences. Bosworth, who has played a key role as a wills advisor, now transitions into her training within the wills and probate team in Wakefield, showcasing Switalskis’ support for internal career progression.
Sana Mahmood, previously a care paralegal, takes her first significant step into the residential conveyancing department at Switalskis’ Bradford office. Her background in care paralegal work serves as a solid foundation for her new role, illustrating the firm’s commitment to diversifying its service areas with experienced professionals.
Joining the firm’s expanding London presence, Harry Aukett is the pioneering graduate solicitor apprentice entering the clinical negligence team. His involvement signifies Switalskis’ strategic growth within the capital, aiming to deepen its influence and service offerings in critical legal areas.
Polina Tureac, who joins the York office, becomes part of the clinical negligence team as a trainee solicitor, further enhancing Switalskis’ capabilities in this specialised field. Her recruitment reflects the firm’s consistent focus on strengthening its practice areas across different regions.
The QSP at Switalskis is designed with flexibility, offering two distinct routes for aspiring solicitors: a graduate solicitor apprenticeship and a traditional training contract. This structure allows for a blend of practical experience and structured academic learning, equipping recruits with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their legal careers. As Amy Clowrey, the director and solicitor at Switalskis, indicates, the programme is an integral part of the firm’s strategy to cultivate legal talent and advance their professionals within the legal sector.
Switalskis’ QSP continues to be a cornerstone in developing aspiring legal professionals, reflecting its dedication to career advancement and sector innovation.
