Prince William and Princess Catherine are reportedly quite comfortable sharing their Norfolk residence, Amner Hall, with a ghost from the 16th century. The revelation comes from paranormal historian Richard Felix, who discusses the haunting in the new film The King of UFOs, currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. According to Felix, the couple embraces the supernatural, having experienced paranormal phenomena in their home.
Felix states, “Most of the Royal properties are old, ancient. All houses where men have lived and died are haunted houses. Their buildings have history beyond anything. All of their properties have ghosts in them. They know it, and they’re into it, as they’ve witnessed it.”
The Ghost of Henry Walpole
The spirit in question is that of Henry Walpole, a Jesuit priest executed in York, who is said to have returned to haunt the royals at Amner Hall. Felix also mentions that the late Queen had encountered the ghost of her namesake, Elizabeth I, on multiple occasions in the library at Windsor Castle.
The film also delves into the royal family’s intriguing connections to the supernatural and extraterrestrial phenomena. It features accounts from Ian Broadmore, a paranormal researcher, who recalls the controversial psychic medium Lillian Bailey being blindfolded and escorted to a royal residence in 1953. Upon removing her blindfold, she found herself in the presence of the Queen, Prince Philip, the Queen Mother, and other members of the royal family during a séance.
Royal Interests in UFOs
The King of UFOs goes beyond ghost stories to explore the late Queen and Prince Philip’s fascination with UFOs and crop circles. The documentary includes previously unreleased archives and interviews with witnesses, and it makes extraordinary claims about Prince Charles piloting an experimental UFO craft in Canada in 1975.
Retired CID detective John Hanson, now the owner of The Great British UFO Learning Centre, claims that a prominent religious figure warned him that UFOs are of demonic origin. Nick Pope, a former British Ministry of Defence employee, echoes this sentiment, suggesting that elements within the government believe UFOs should be left alone due to their supposed demonic nature.
Hanson notes that the late Queen and Prince Philip maintained a library of UFO and paranormal literature, indicating their serious interest in these topics.
A Royal Role in First Contact
The film also speculates on King Charles’s potential role in the event of first contact with extraterrestrial beings. Director and writer Mark Christopher Lee suggests that the King, as head of state and head of the Church of England, would have significant responsibilities in preparing the public for a paradigm shift. “With UFO sightings increasing, this may be closer than we think,” Lee warns.
He urges King Charles to disclose the truth about UFOs to the public, asserting that people deserve to know whether we are alone in the universe. As interest in paranormal phenomena grows, the royal family’s interactions with ghosts and UFOs are attracting renewed attention.
